After a ten year friendship, Stevenson and Brigett Pangkey were married in April of 2004. When they started their new life together they did all the things that most people advise you don’t do the first year you were married. The bought a house, started a new business, and started a new family.
Brigett had been working for Tonya Fields in Loma Linda teaching the Academic Associates Reading Program. Brigett was so impressed when her first student went from 3rd grade level to 6th grade level in 30 hours. In June of 2008, Brigett graduated from Cal State San Bernardino with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.
Stevenson graduated from La Siera University many years ago with a history degree. Most recently he had been working at National University as a computer technician. In July of 2004 Stevenson became trained in the reading course and purchased a license to teach the program. Stevenson, had taught ESL overseas in the past and also enjoyed being an active youth leader in his church. Occasionally, he will substitute teach for the Colton School District.
The happy couple started the business with a dream and their business has grown along with their family. The couple as two beautiful children, Skyler, 3, and Colton, 1.
